Mining and the Mining History of Kern County with Dr. Gregg Wilkerson
Dr. Wilkerson is a geologist and professor of geology at CSUB who has written extensively about mining in the Greenhorn and Piute mountains, and is also an expert in environmental permitting and land use planning for Kern Co. The talk will be at the Standard Schoolhouse, Kern Co. Museum, at 10:30 am on January 15th 2022. No cost. But, due to limited seating for social distancing, reservations are required.
